Account setup
Create an account and open the panel
Start from the registration page. Set a username and password; no email address is required. Use a unique username for future sign-ins and a password that is not reused on other websites to protect your account and subscription details. Submit the form to open the user panel. If the browser does not switch automatically, use the “Log in” link in the header with the username and password you just created.
After signing in, first confirm that the page shows your own account overview. It brings together your plan status, subscription entry, data usage, and client download links. If you do not yet have an active plan, the subscription area may not show any routes to import. This is expected; confirm your plan next. Do not save your account password in browser extensions, public documents, or chat groups. For everyday use, work only between the user panel and client on trusted devices.
If the form says the username is already taken, return to registration and choose another one. If the passwords do not match, re-enter them using the confirmation field as the reference. Because the registration page does not request an email address, recovery depends mainly on keeping your username and password secure. After registration, sign out and sign in once to confirm that your credentials work before placing an order.
Plan confirmation
Choose a plan and place your order
Open the plans panel and choose a monthly subscription or data package based on how you expect to use it. Monthly options include ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, and ¥28/month for 500GB; data resets monthly from the activation date. For ongoing work, streaming, or frequent use across multiple platforms, choose a monthly tier based on expected usage. When upgrading, the price difference is prorated by remaining days, and the panel shows the result before you confirm the order.
Data packages cost ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB. They remain valid until used and never expire. They suit people with irregular usage who want data to carry over between months. Both options support unlimited devices, so choose based on the reset policy and expected consumption rather than device count. If you are unsure, review the comparison table in the plan details, then return to the panel to choose.
After choosing a tier, check the plan name, data allowance, and amount in the order, then pay with Alipay, WeChat Pay, or USDT. Do not submit the same order again after payment; return to the account overview and wait for the status to update. Only copy the subscription link after the page shows that the plan is active. 6KVPN offers a 60-day no-questions-asked refund; see the refund policy for eligibility and processing details.
Subscription delivery
Get the subscription link from the user panel
Once the plan is active, open the account overview and find the subscription section. It usually includes options to copy or update the subscription, or open the client download page. Click Copy to place the link on your clipboard. Then paste it into the client’s subscription field—do not edit the link or remove any parameters.
A subscription link acts as the credential the client uses to read your personal route list, so keep it only on your own devices. This guide does not display a real subscription address. The invalid example below is shown only to help you recognize the format:
https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN
If the beginning, parameters, or characters change after pasting, return to the user panel and copy the link again instead of repairing it manually. Once the browser confirms the copy, go to the section for your device. The client installation entry is also available on the download page after login; the marketing pages do not provide direct links to static installers.
If the subscription area is still empty, refresh the account overview and check the order status. Do not keep creating new orders while the original is incomplete. If payment status remains unchanged or the panel does not match the order, open the ticket area from the user panel and describe the issue. For complete instructions on updating, resetting, and maintaining subscriptions, continue with the beginner-to-advanced guide.
Desktop platforms
Import the Windows client
Sign in to the user panel on your Windows device, open the client download page, and get the appropriate client. After installation, launch it and look for subscription management in the main interface or sidebar. Depending on the version, it may be called “Add subscription,” “Import from URL,” or “Remote configuration.” You will then see fields for a subscription name and address.
Use “6KVPN” as the subscription name for easy identification, and paste the personal link copied from the account overview into the subscription address field. Save it and click Update so the client can load the route list. When the update succeeds, available regions will appear. Choose a route near your target service location with stable current performance, then return to the main screen and connect.
The first connection may prompt you to confirm network permissions. This is a normal step required to create the system network configuration. Confirm it, check that the client status changes to Connected, and continue to the verification step at the end of this guide. If the subscription update fails, check that the link is complete, the plan is active, and the system time is accurate. Do not add multiple identical subscriptions. For more complex permission and connection issues, visit the support page.
Desktop platforms
Import the macOS client
On macOS, get the client from the download page available after login, install it, and launch it from Applications. The first time a network client runs, macOS may ask you to approve a network extension or add a network configuration. Follow the system prompt to open Settings and grant the required permission, then return to the client. If you dismiss the prompt, the client may open but fail to establish a connection.
Find the subscription or configuration section in the client and choose the option to add one by URL. Paste the complete subscription link copied from the user panel, save it, and update the list. Wait for the routes to load, choose a region, and click Connect. If a client status icon appears in the menu bar, use it to check the current route and connection status. For the initial setup, however, the main window is recommended so you can see any error messages.
If the Connect button does nothing, open macOS System Settings and check whether the relevant network configuration or extension is approved, then quit and relaunch the client. Do not run multiple clients that modify system network settings at the same time, as this makes the current state difficult to diagnose. For detailed recovery steps after a system permission denial, read Mac VPN Setup from Scratch.
Mobile platforms
Import the Android client
Sign in to the user panel in your Android browser and open the download page to find the client. Install and launch it, then open subscription or configuration management. Choose Add by Link, paste your personal subscription address, and give it a recognizable name. Save and update it so the client can write the remote routes to the local list.
Open the route list, choose a region, and return to the main screen to start the connection. The first connection of this type on Android displays a system authorization dialog; confirm it to continue. Once connected, the status bar will typically show a system network indicator. That indicator only means the system configuration has started; use the IP check in the final section to confirm the expected exit.
If the connection drops after the client has been in the background for a while, check the app’s background activity and battery optimization settings. Menu names vary widely between device manufacturers, so this page does not list every path. First allow the client to run as needed in the background, then reconnect. If the issue continues, visit the support page for connection and troubleshooting categories.
Mobile platforms
Import the iOS client
On an iPhone or iPad, sign in to the user panel and find the iOS client entry in the download area. Install a client that supports subscription imports, open its subscription, configuration, or server page, and choose Add by URL. Paste the personal subscription link from the account overview into the address field, save and update it, and then check the route list organized by region.
When you select a route and connect, iOS will ask to add a system network configuration. Follow the system prompts to complete authorization and return to the client; the connection status should switch to enabled. You normally do not need to add the subscription again when changing routes—choose a new region from the existing list and reconnect. If the list is outdated, update the subscription instead of deleting the account and registering again.
If multiple old configurations remain in System Settings, disconnect the current connection first, then return to the client you are using and start it again. Do not enable connections in multiple clients at once, or the system status may not match the selected route. After connecting, check the exit IP; this is more reliable than watching the client button alone.
Confirm the result
Connect and verify the exit IP
After the client shows Connected, open the IP lookup page and check the current exit IP and region. The result should match the region of the route you selected, or at least differ from the network exit before connecting. If the browser still shows the old result, close the previously opened lookup tab and visit the page in a new tab to avoid cached content affecting the check.
If the result has not changed, return to the client and confirm that the connection is still enabled and that the selected route belongs to the 6KVPN subscription you just imported. Disconnect, update the subscription once, choose another route, reconnect, and run the lookup again. On desktop systems, you can also fully quit other network clients temporarily to rule out conflicts between multiple system configurations.
Once the exit region is correct, the basic setup is complete. For everyday use, you generally only need to launch the client, choose a route, connect, and recheck the IP when necessary. Plan data, expiration status, and subscription updates are available in the user panel, so there is no need to create another account. When changing devices, use the same account and active subscription; device count is unlimited. On a new device, get the client and subscription from the user panel rather than copying installers from an unknown source.
This completes the streamlined setup. For route selection, ongoing maintenance, renewals, subscription resets, and advanced troubleshooting, continue to the complete user guide. If you already have a specific error, go directly to the support page and browse the Account, Connection, Speed, or Billing categories.
